Birkelev is close to Skærbæk and part of Tønder Municipality, making it a great base for day trips to Tønder, Ribe, or the islands of Rømø and Sylt, known for their wide beaches and impressive dune landscapes.

With 158 m² of living space, there is plenty of room to gather, cook, and relax. The house offers 4 bedrooms with 3 double beds and 2 single beds, making it suitable for families or groups of friends who appreciate both togetherness and privacy.

The bathroom has comfortable underfloor heating, especially nice after a windy day outdoors. A washing machine and dishwasher are available for a practical and easy stay. Entertainment is also covered with Google Chromecast, so you can stream movies, series, or music in the evening.

Dogs are warmly welcome, and up to two pets may be brought along, so the whole family can enjoy the holiday together. 

Southern Jutland – between green silence and North Sea winds

In the area, you will experience authentic village life with farms, fields, and the peaceful marsh landscape. The Wadden Sea is not far away and delights nature lovers with its rich birdlife and tidal scenery, far from big cities and traffic noise.

For a bit more life and variety, Tønder can be reached in about 10–15 minutes, where you will find cafés, shops, and a historic town center. Toward Højer and Emmerlev, you reach dikes and access to the Wadden Sea, while Rømø and the Lakolk beach are about 21 kilometers away.

It is also possible to take the ferry from Rømø to the neighboring island of Sylt – an experience for both children and adults.

Shopping facilities are located about 6,000 meters from the holiday home. If you are planning beach days, the coast is about 19,000 meters away. This provides a pleasant balance between active excursions to the sea and peaceful relaxation in the green surroundings of the holiday home.
