Welcome to this charming holiday home, where you immediately experience the authentic Danish holiday cottage atmosphere the moment you step inside. The house features a cosy and comfortably furnished living room with a wood-burning stove and energy-efficient heat pump. From the living room, you have direct access to a lovely covered terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue – perfect for relaxing summer evenings.
The dining area is connected to the older yet functional kitchen. The sleeping accommodation is spread across three comfortable bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, and one bedroom with bunk beds as well as a loft area. As an alternative to the bunk beds, the property also offers a separate annex with two additional sleeping places. The bathroom is bright and practical with a shower enclosure. A high chair is available for families with small children.
Several terraces surround the house, allowing you to enjoy both the morning and evening sun throughout the day. The holiday home is situated on a gently sloping plot with a large lawn, ideal for children’s play and outdoor activities. The property is within walking and cycling distance of the charming town of Ebeltoft.
Boeslum Bakker is a beautiful hilly area with scenic views of fields and forests, located close to an excellent sandy beach. The Ebeltoft area also offers beaches along both the western and southern coastline. Boeslum Beach mainly consists of fine white sand and picturesque meadow areas covered with grass and flowers. In some places, the beach is a mix of sand and stones, though predominantly sandy. The water is clean and clear but becomes deep quite quickly. Facilities at the beach include toilets and an ice cream kiosk.
From the beach, you can enjoy views of Jernhatten, a popular local excursion destination, as well as the small island of Hjelm. The historic town of Ebeltoft is located just a short distance from the house and offers a wide range of attractions. Here, you can visit the famous Old Town Hall, where couples from near and far come to get married. The charming cobbled streets are filled with unique boutiques, cafés, and inviting restaurants.
At the harbour in Ebeltoft, you will find the renowned Glass Museum, internationally recognised for modern glass art. The harbour area also offers great shopping opportunities, restaurants, and the chance to buy freshly caught fish daily. Within less than an hour’s drive, you can visit both Kattegatcentret in Grenaa and Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, featuring activities and attractions for the whole family.
