Handrup Bakker is a beautiful natural area with rolling hills. The area is quiet and very child-friendly. Well-maintained paths make it easy to reach the beach – a family-friendly sandy beach with shallow water and a sandy bottom.
The area is close to the Mols Bjerge National Park and the charming town of Ebeltoft, which offers several attractions such as the Frigate Jylland, the Old Town Hall, and the Glass Museum. You’ll also find a variety of small specialty shops and cosy cafés along the cobbled streets.
It’s just about a 30-minute drive to Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland, and the Kattegat Center in Grenaa.
