Danish cosiness with wood-burning stove across 75 square metres

You'll feel the charm and comfort the moment you step into the holiday home. Here you can truly relax and fully embrace the Danish 'hygge' feeling. The utility room provides space for your coats and shoes, and houses the washing machine.

The open-plan living area, with adjoining kitchen and dining space, is flooded with natural light and cosily furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for culinary delights. On the soft, snug sofas, you can enjoy views of nature or settle down with a good book in peaceful surroundings. The flat-screen TV features a modern Chromecast device, allowing you to easily stream your favourite programmes. An evening film becomes especially cosy with a crackling fire in the wood-burning stove.

From the living room, you have access to a delightful conservatory that can be opened at the end during summer, creating a seamless flow between the conservatory and terrace. The sheltered and partially covered terrace always offers a comfortable spot where you can fire up the gas barbecue and enjoy dinner under the open sky. The beautiful wooden deck was extended in 2024, providing even more space for relaxation.

The holiday home has three bedrooms. One features a double bed, while the other two each have a single sofa bed. The bathroom welcomes you in the morning with warm underfloor heating and includes a shower enclosure.

Fanø – stunning nature and diverse activities

From Esbjerg, it's just a short 12-minute ferry crossing to the beautiful island of Fanø. Your holiday begins here, with views across the North Sea and the island, and if you're lucky, you might spot seals resting on the sandbanks near Nordby. The island's beaches are among Denmark's finest and are particularly child-friendly, with summer low tides creating shallow waters. The beach is accessible by car or bicycle, with both permitted on the beach itself.

The beautiful landscape of this 60-square-kilometre island is perfect for exploring by bicycle. There's a 7.5-mile (12 km) cycle path from Nordby to Sønderho in the south. You can cycle along either the beach or through the stunning heathland. You can also join guided town walks through the narrow streets and alleyways of Nordby or Sønderho's old town, visiting various island attractions.
