The area around Øer is a cozy and popular holiday area close to forest and beach. The beach is characterized by shallow water and sandy beach. However, in some places, the beach can be a mixture of stones and sand. For those who enjoy mountain biking, there is a 13 km long track in the area, which is divided into different difficulty levels. From the house, it's about a 10-minute drive to the harbor in Ebeltoft where you'll find the Glass Museum, which is a leading institution in modern glass art. At the harbor, you'll also find several good eateries and there is always the opportunity to buy freshly caught fish. A visit to the Frigate Jylland is also recommended. In the cozy cobblestone streets of Ebeltoft town, you'll find many exciting shops with, among other things, handicrafts as well as small cozy cafes. Here you'll also find the town's most visited attraction, The Old Town Hall, where people come from near and far to get married. From the house, it's about an hour's drive to both Kattegatcentret in Grenaa and Northern Europe's largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland.
