The area around Øer is a charming and popular holiday destination, close to both forest and beach. The beach is characterized by shallow waters and sandy shores, although some areas may have a mix of sand and stones. For mountain biking enthusiasts, there is a 13 km track in the area with different levels of difficulty. From the house, it takes about 10 minutes by car to reach Ebeltoft Harbour, home to the renowned Glass Museum, a leading institution in modern glass art. The harbor also offers several excellent restaurants and the opportunity to buy freshly caught fish. A visit to the Frigate Jylland is also highly recommended. In Ebeltoft’s cozy cobblestone streets, you will find many charming shops selling home accessories as well as small, inviting cafés. The town’s most visited attraction, the Old Town Hall, is also located here, where couples from near and far come to get married. From the house, it takes less than an hour to drive to both the Kattegatcenter in Grenaa and Scandinavia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Sommerland.
