The beach and North Sea are also nearby. After a 0.9-mile (1,400-metre) walk, you'll find yourself standing on fine white sand, breathing in the salty sea air and enjoying views to the horizon.

Near the holiday home at Sandvej 7 lies the "Kallesmærsk Hede" nature reserve, covering 11,636 hectares. This diverse landscape combines dunes, heathland and small woodland areas, with parts of the area serving as a military training ground.
