Solskrænten - Dråby - 8400 - Ebeltoft

We had a wonderful stay at this house in mid June of this year. We live in Asia, so we always book a summer rental for a week in the area to spend time with family and friends in the region. This house was phenomenal for that purpose: the garden, the outdoor eating/seating areas, the BBQ/grill, the lounges and chairs were beautifully situated to enjoy the glorious summer weather we had that week. My child was permanently attached to the trampoline and the playground during the daylight hours. To top it all off, the outdoor hot tub was well utilised every evening after a day of walks and exploring of the region. Because the house is on a hill at the end of a dirt track road, it felt extremely private and a bit remote compared to the other summer rentals down the road. The kitchen is well equipped (love the ice machine in the fridge!), the beds were comfy, the kids loft super cute and the many board games and outdoor field games like croquet were also very welcome on some evenings. There's very little I could complain about this house, I can only speak praise of it . There was only one thing that was a bit of a hazard - there's a step near the kitchen counter, leading into the living area: we missed that step a few times, including our elderly dad. Maybe the couch needs to be moved to make that step more obvious, especially for the elderly or the young. Retrieving glasses from the cabinet in that corner was also a bit haphazard. Personally, I would relocate the glasses to a different, larger cabinet just so there is more space and the glasses aren't stacked on one another. This is such a small detail and really doesn't detract from the house, but perhaps the owners might consider this as valuable feedback. Overall, I can't recommend this house enough for families and/or mature friends to gather at for an amazing stay in Djursland.
