Close to the beach, you will find a small ice cream kiosk, and if you feel like having a meal, there is also a small café nearby. Right next to it, there is a larger, well-maintained playground with plenty of activities.
In the area, you will also find a cozy beach and picnic house, perfect for small outings or enjoying lunch outdoors. If you enjoy outdoor life, a bit further towards the forest you will find a small shelter site where you can stay overnight in nature and make a campfire. There are also several marked walking and cycling routes in the area, with signs guiding you along scenic paths. If you prefer a longer hike, you can try the 12 km hiking route “Planetstien,” which connects Gjellerodde, Vinkelhage, and Lemvig.
If you would like to explore more, the town of Lemvig is just a short drive away, offering good grocery shopping, bakeries, cafés, shops in the charming pedestrian street, and cultural experiences. Thyborøn is also within easy reach, where you can visit the Sea War Museum, Jyllands Akvariet, and the North Sea.
