The kitchen and living room are combined in one open space, making it an ideal hub for your holiday – whether you're cooking together, sharing meals or watching a film in the evening. If you feel like diving into a book or picking up your knitting, there’s a comfortable armchair in the small entrance hall, right in front of the wood-burning stove – the kind of peaceful moment you finally have time for on a real holiday.

Enjoy life outside
There are terraces by both the main house and the annex, so before you settle into a garden chair with your coffee, you might want to consider which spot suits your mood best. Both terraces enjoy plenty of sunshine, so choosing a favourite might be a challenge. The lawn invites play and games – perfect if you’d rather be active with the family than sit still – and if you're travelling with little ones, you’ll appreciate the small slide and sandbox on the property.

Porsevej 51 is a peaceful and family-friendly location, as it sits on a quiet cul-de-sac and is within walking distance to both Gjellerodde Beach and the fun adventure playground by the fjord. Whether you're heading out for a swim, paddling in the shallow water or skipping stones, the beach is just a five-minute walk away. If you’re into fishing, you might prefer to stroll all the way to the tip of the headland and try your luck there. Cycling and surfing are popular outdoor activities in the area, and golfers will be pleased to know that Lemvig Golf Club is less than five kilometres away.

Remember, you can always borrow pull wagons, high chairs, and cots from us at Vejlby Klit. You can pick them up directly from the office and return them to us once your holiday is over.
