Welcome to Baunbjergevej 14 in Haurvig. Here you can holiday with the whole family and your best friends - your dogs. Five guests can enjoy three bedrooms, furnished with two double beds and one single bed. The bedrooms are bright and cheerfully decorated, with floor-to-ceiling windows providing excellent natural light.

Wood-burning stove and stable door create a cosy atmosphere

The heart of the house is the open-plan living and dining area connecting to the kitchen. Here you can make yourself comfortable in armchairs or on the cosy sofa in front of the wood-burning stove. Light wood panelling and flooring give the house its typical Scandinavian charm, while the heat pump ensures comfortable warmth throughout. For the designated cook, there's a modern kitchen renovated in 2024, equipped with an electric cooker, fridge, freezer (225l), microwave and dishwasher.

The open-plan kitchen design keeps you connected to family activities while preparing meals, and the traditional stable door lets you enjoy birdsong and early morning sunshine whilst making coffee. The spacious bathroom, featuring underfloor heating, sauna and whirlpool, offers relaxation for all ages. Please note that German TV programmes are limited.

Enclosed and partially covered terrace

The outdoor area can be enjoyed in any weather, being partially covered and fully enclosed. Sun loungers are provided, and the barbecue is ready for use. There are numerous seating areas around the house, ensuring everyone can find their favourite spot.

Where narrow land meets vast sea

Haurvig is situated on the narrow peninsula between Ringkøbing Fjord and the North Sea, approximately 5.6 miles (9 km) south of Hvide Sande. The water is just 750 metres from the house, and the nearest shop in Bjerrgård is 4.3 miles (7 km) away, offering fresh bread and rolls daily. For those who might find sunbathing and relaxing by the wood-burner too peaceful, the surrounding area offers plenty of variety.

The wide beaches are perfect for long walks, horse riding and all types of water sports, while the cycle paths along the dune landscape are very popular. The town of Ringkøbing and Bork Havn are popular destinations where you can wander through Ringkøbing's idyllic streets, enjoy authentic Danish soft ice cream in the market square, soak up the harbour atmosphere in Bork Havn, and visit the Viking Museum.
