Put your feet up in the sofa corner with a good book and a warm cup of coffee, and after dinner, enjoy a card game around the dining table. From both here and the hallway in front of the bedrooms, you can take in views of the beautiful, undulating dune landscape that characterises the area.

The large, undisturbed natural plot is home to a lovely terrace, where garden furniture is ready for you to relax in the sun and fresh air. Enjoy an early morning coffee on the south-facing wooden terrace as the sun rises. From here, you have panoramic views and even a glimpse of Ringkøbing Fjord – pure balm for the soul.

On warm summer evenings, you can fire up the grill and prepare a delicious meal to enjoy under the shelter of the covered terrace. When you need a refreshing rinse after a day at the beach, the outdoor shower – available from April to November – is a delightful feature that adds to the holiday atmosphere and makes it easy to wash off the sand.

If you follow the gravel road, you’ll arrive at the charming little harbour – Vinterleje Havn. It’s the perfect spot for an evening stroll with views over Ringkøbing Fjord. The fjord is ideal for stand-up paddleboarding and other types of watersports, which are readily available in Hvide Sande. Located just under 10 km to the north, Hvide Sande also offers great shopping opportunities and cosy restaurants with views of the harbour.
