A cozy and bright living room, with access to the terrace featuring garden furniture and a view of the sea. Adjacent to the living room is the colorful kitchen with a dining area and wood stove. From here, you can watch large ships coming in and out of Aarhus Harbor during the summer months, as well as luxury liners sailing very close to the coast. The area of Helgenæs is characterized by its unique nature, hilly terrain, wildlife, and fantastic viewpoints. You will also find the German Tower, a remnant from World War II, from which you can see as far as Samsø, Tunø, Aarhus, and the coast of Odder. The area also features Ellemandsbjerg, a 99-meter-high hill that is a popular excursion destination. The house is located about 21 km from the town of Ebeltoft, which offers many exciting tourist attractions, such as the Old Town Hall, the Glass Museum, which is a leader in modern glass art, and the frigate Jylland. A short drive from the house, you can visit Djurs Sommerland, the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, as well as the Kattegatcenter in Grenaa, which is definitely worth a visit to see penguins, sharks, and seals.
