On Helgenæs, not far from Sletterhage Lighthouse, you will find this older, yet charming holiday home. The house features a cozy living room with a wood stove and heat pump, and adjacent to the living room is a smaller but functional kitchen. There is a nice bathroom with a shower cubicle and a washing machine. The sleeping arrangements are spread across three smaller bedrooms. The house is situated on a sloping plot, and at the back of the house, you will find a wonderful outdoor hot tub, offering complete privacy. Internet is available in the house.
The house is located about 2 km from the water, with a beach that is a mix of stone and sand. It is also just a short distance from Sletterhage Lighthouse, which is very popular. From here, you can watch large ships coming in and out of Aarhus Harbor during the summer, as well as luxury liners sailing very close to the coast. The area of Helgenæs is known for its unique nature, hilly terrain, wildlife, and fantastic viewpoints. You will also find the German Tower, a remnant from World War II, offering views as far as Samsø, Tunø, Aarhus, and the coast of Odder. The area also features Ellemandsbjerg, a 99-meter-high hill that is a popular hiking destination. The house is located about 24 km from Ebeltoft, with many exciting tourist attractions, such as the Old Town Hall, the Glass Museum (a leader in modern glass art), and the Frigate Jylland. About an hour's drive from the house, you will find the largest amusement park in the Nordic countries, Djurs Sommerland, as well as the Kattegat Center in Grenaa, which is definitely worth a visit to see penguins, sharks, and seals.
