If you can't agree on what to watch, there's an additional TV in the bedroom with Chromecast for streaming your favourite series. On cooler days, the wood-burning stove adds extra cosiness when lit. Otherwise, the energy-efficient air-to-air heat pump maintains a pleasant climate throughout. The utility room houses a washing machine, and the bathroom features underfloor heating, so no cold feet in the early morning.

There are two bedrooms where you can recharge after a long day in the fresh air. There's also a small, cosy nook where you can find a quiet moment's retreat during the day.

Returning to the house, an outdoor shower is available from April to November to rinse off the sand.
