The terrace is partially covered, making it perfect for seeking shade from the summer sun or when a summer shower hits. The large lawn is ideal for everything from ball games to water fights, providing plenty of space for play and fun.

Activities and Experiences in the Area

Kjul is known for its rich wildlife, so there is a good chance of spotting deer, hares, and pheasants. The beach, sheltered by Hirtshals harbor, is one of the most child-friendly beaches in the area. In the summer, you can visit the local ice cream shop and get fresh breakfast bread from the campsite in Kjul.

The area offers fantastic hiking trails along the forest and beach, and if you bring a bike, we recommend the North Sea Trail, which takes you all the way to Skagen.

Hirtshals is just a short drive from Kjul, offering cafés, a pedestrian street, and a multitude of supermarkets. It is also where you will find the North Sea Oceanarium - Northern Europe's largest aquarium, which is definitely worth a visit.
