This beautiful summer house on the North Sea island of Rømø was modernised in 2020. It comfortably accommodates 4 adults and 2 children for a relaxing holiday in natural surroundings. Thanks to two heat pumps, this holiday home can be heated quickly and energy-efficiently even during the cold season. Special highlights include the sauna and the spacious terrace of this thatched holiday home.

Large windows flood the cosy living area with natural light

Upon entering this typical Scandinavian thatched house, you'll immediately notice the bright, light-filled living area. The comfortable sofa and TV armchairs are perfect for enjoying a DVD evening or an engaging book by the fire. The wood-burning stove is newly installed for 2024. Adjacent to this is the dining area, which also serves well for family game nights.

The spacious and well-equipped open-plan kitchen includes a dishwasher and microwave. The kitchen features an island with bar stools, ideal for breakfast or enjoying a drink while preparing a delicious evening meal.

The three bedrooms comprise one double bed, two single beds, and a children's room with a cabin bed and single bed. The bathroom, with underfloor heating, offers a shower and sauna - perfect for warming up after a long walk. There's also a separate guest toilet with an additional newly fitted shower, renovated in 2024. A washing machine and tumble dryer are provided, along with a high chair and cot, making this an ideal choice for families with young children.

Multiple terraces and enclosed garden

The beautiful, spacious terrace areas are well-furnished with garden furniture, sun loungers, and parasols for ultimate relaxation. Here you can enjoy complete privacy surrounded by nature. Savour a delicious coffee while your children explore the grounds, play in the sandpit, enjoy the swings, or bounce on the trampoline.

There's also a covered area for shelter on rainy days. The holiday home's barbecue is perfect for outdoor cooking, and an electric car charging point is available.

A large section of the garden is fully enclosed, allowing your dogs plenty of space to run and play freely.

Perfectly positioned between the Wadden Sea and sandy beach

Kap Farvel 9 is just minutes from the Wadden Sea on the North Sea island of Rømø. The extensive sandy beach on the other side of the island is easily accessible by bicycle. Here you can try various water sports or simply enjoy a refreshing swim in the North Sea.

For additional activities, consider visiting the Tønnisgård Nature Centre, suitable for both children and adults, or take a trip to Spidsbjerg – Rømø's most beautiful viewpoint.
