Råbjergvej - Kongsmark - 6792 - Rømø

This beautiful and tastefully furnished holiday home at Råbjergvej 4 on Rømø sits on a spacious, quiet natural plot of 2,654 square metres, surrounded by trees, heather and grass. Deer, rabbits, pheasants and foxes freely roam the garden. The swimming beach at Lakolk is just 1.5 miles (2,500 metres) away, while the Wadden Sea is 650 metres from the holiday home.

Modern, bright interior with ample space

The holiday accommodation sleeps up to 6 people and spans a generous living space of 112 square metres.

Built in 1983, the holiday home underwent extensive renovation and modernisation in 2018 and 2023.

The bright, ultra-modern kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. It features a large induction hob with integrated extractor fan, dishwasher, oven, and a spacious fridge-freezer with 196-litre fridge and 72-litre freezer capacity. A filter coffee maker, additional Senseo espresso pod machine, and milk frother are also provided. Ample storage for groceries is available in a tall cupboard, drawers, and shelves.

The house has a bathroom with walk-in shower featuring a rainfall showerhead, toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer. Underfloor heating provides comfortable warmth.

Sleeping arrangements are spread across 3 bedrooms: 4 people can sleep in double beds (180 x 200 cm and 140 x 200 cm), while 2 people can use bunk beds (2x 90x200 cm). All modernised rooms offer generous wardrobe space, tiled floors, underfloor heating and blackout blinds.

Energy-efficient heat pump and wood-burning stove

The holiday home is equipped with an energy-efficient heat pump. During colder months, the electric underfloor heating, installed throughout the house, can be individually controlled in different zones. A wood-burning stove provides additional cosy warmth.

For entertainment, there's a Smart TV with cable and satellite connection, plus Netflix and Amazon Prime Video apps. A stereo system, CD player, DVD/Blu-ray player and Bluetooth receiver are also available. High-speed fibre-optic internet with Wi-Fi completes the amenities.

Conservatory and excellent outdoor areas including sauna

Two spacious open terrace areas, sheltered from wind and overlooking eyes, invite you to linger. Here you can enjoy the sun and relax from early morning until evening.

The newly constructed south-east terrace (2024) features a covered lounge area with sauna and outdoor shower, creating a small wellness oasis. Both terraces (south-east and south-west) have dining tables seating up to eight people, sun loungers and parasols, allowing choice depending on weather conditions. Both charcoal and gas barbecues are available for use. The formerly covered terrace has been converted into a conservatory.

The outdoor shower cannot be used from 1 November to 31 March due to frost risk.

There is ample parking space for several cars on the property. In addition, a wallbox (charging station for electric vehicles) is available – ABB, Type 2. Please bring your own cable/adapter from home.

Rømø - North Sea, Wadden Sea and heathland landscapes

Kongsmark is situated in the middle of Rømø, where houses are mostly secluded on large plots. The protected heathland areas towards Lakolk give this area's nature its unique character. The grocery shop (open seasonally) is nearby, as is Lakolk's fantastic sandy beach. Lakolk also offers cafés, restaurants and shops. There are wonderful cycle paths across the entire island, through plantations, forests and heathland, along the wide sandy beaches or the lush nature of the Wadden Sea on the opposite side. A nearly 6-mile (10-kilometre) causeway makes day trips to the mainland easy, where we recommend visiting the historic towns of Tønder or Ribe.
