The lighthouse features a shop that extends into a café, where you'll also find a small exhibition about its history. While you enjoy your hot chocolate, children can explore the playground.

Hvide Sande is about 3.1 miles (5 km) away, offering good shopping facilities and excellent restaurants. Fishing enthusiasts can fish at the locks or take a fishing boat trip out onto the North Sea or Ringkøbing Fjord.
