The peaceful surroundings provide the perfect private setting in which to slow down, unwind and make the most of your holiday. Please remember that, to protect young wildlife, including deer fawns, dogs must be kept on a lead from 1 April to 1 October.

Welcome to Fanø – Activities and relaxation

Fanø offers a great variety of cultural experiences, beautiful nature, local shops and produce, as well as restaurants and cafés. The Rindby area provides plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy the island's unique surroundings.

The endless sandy beach of the North Sea is just 4,000 metres away and is ideal for long walks along the water's edge with your dog on a lead. If you are interested in wildlife, you may be lucky enough to see seals, encounter deer and spot some of the many wading birds found in the area – perhaps even a bird of prey on an especially lucky day.

You are also very welcome to bring your bicycle to Fanø, as exploring the island on 2 wheels is an excellent way to get around. A well-established network of cycle paths stretches from Nordby in the north, through Rindby and all the way to Sønderho in the south. Alternatively, there are plenty of opportunities to rent bicycles on the island.
