Unique and historic holiday home with views of Sæby River and the sluice. The residence is 96 square meters, spread across two floors and accommodates up to six guests. Carefully renovated, it now combines modern comfort with high ceilings, exposed beams, and unique details reflecting the watermill's original use. Within the watermill, you’ll find beautiful mill wheels embedded in the walls and floor, the original workbench, and decorative tools that take you on a journey through more than 300 years of industrial history. Over the years, the mill has housed a coachbuilder’s workshop, a wood-wool factory, and a furniture workshop.

The ground floor includes a kitchen and dining area with a charming long dining table, a small hallway, and a bathroom with a washing machine. The kitchen is equipped with all modern appliances, including a ceramic stove, range hood, refrigerator, and freezer.

On the first floor, there is a large and spacious living room with beautiful light wood floors. There is one bedroom with a double bed, a lounge with a double bed in an alcove, and a loft with two single beds separated by elegant glass walls facing the living room. A modern bathroom with a shower is also located on the first floor.

From both the kitchen and living room windows, you can enjoy the lovely view of Sæby's rushing river and sluice.

The garden features a well-maintained lawn, flower beds, garden furniture, and a conservatory, which is shared with the hosts at Thora’s House.

GOOD TO KNOW:

The holiday rental is an apartment in a duplex house.

Non-smoking property.

Pets are not allowed.

Guests must be at least 25 years old and present for the entire rental period.

Ample parking on the designated spots belonging to the property, with two parking spaces available.

This holiday rental has a unique and central location in Sæby's charming town center, with excellent shopping options. A five-minute walk along the scenic river brings you to the harbor, where you'll find cozy ice cream shops, stores, and many recreational sailors during the summer. North of the harbor lies the beautiful promenade with a stunning and family-friendly beach. We also recommend a walk along the river in Sæbygård Forest, where you can enjoy the trickling water and the vast, beautiful beech forest.

Sæby is centrally located in Vendsyssel, making it ideal for additional excursions. Aalborg, the North Sea, and Skagen are within easy reach.
