In the summer months, it’s worth stopping by the sand sculpture festival, and in bad weather the large leisure pool at Lalandia where you can also go bowling and play padel is a good alternative. Other recommended excursion destinations are the harbour town of Hvide Sande and the old market town of Ringkøbing, which lies directly on the Ringkøbing Fjord.
