Welcome inside

Indoors, you are welcomed by a bright and inviting holiday home, where the cosy interior immediately makes you lower your shoulders and relax. The renovation has given the house a fresh and welcoming look, while the exposed beams add warmth, character, and a true holiday-home atmosphere to the rooms. The living area provides a lovely setting for everything that belongs to a holiday: quiet mornings with a cup of coffee, long evenings with good food and board games around the table, and relaxing moments where you simply enjoy being together. On the first floor, the large west-facing windows are something quite special, allowing you to let your gaze drift across the landscape and all the way towards the North Sea. As the light changes throughout the day, the view takes on its own unique atmosphere – from clear blue tones to golden evening hours as the sun slowly moves down towards the horizon.

Enjoy life outside

Outdoor living is given excellent conditions at Engbjergvej 79, where several terraces around the house make it easy to find a lovely spot in the sun – or shelter when the wind comes in from the west. The covered terrace is ideal for long summer dinners, where you can stay seated outside even when the dew begins to fall, or when the weather shows its more West Jutland side. The garden is fenced, so the dog can safely sniff around while you lean back with a book or let the peaceful atmosphere settle around you. There is also a fire pit, which can quickly become the natural gathering point on warm evenings, when the flames crackle, the conversation flows, and darkness slowly settles over the landscape. It is a wonderful place for those who are looking for peace, quiet, and plenty of holiday atmosphere under the open sky.

Get up close to the local attractions

The location is peaceful and scenic, and the holiday home is perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy their own company – without being far from the area’s attractions. Here, you stay with Lake Ferring, the open landscape, and the North Sea as part of your holiday scenery, and it is ideal to go for walks in the local area, where you can feel the wind on your face and hear the birdlife around the lake. To the west, the beach and the roaring waves of the North Sea await, while to the south you can visit Bovbjerg Lighthouse and enjoy the view over the coast. Jens Søndergaard’s Museum in Ferring is also a lovely excursion destination if you want to combine art, culture, and beautiful nature. Back at the holiday home, you can look forward to the peace, the view, and the feeling of having found a truly special place on the west coast.

Remember, you can always borrow handcarts, high chairs, and cots from us at Vejlby Klit. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them to us again when your holiday is over.
